Day 1: Arrival in Jammu/Katra – Transfer to Hotel

Welcome to your spiritual journey! Upon your arrival at the Jammu Airport/Railway Station, our representative will warmly welcome you. Enjoy a comfortable transfer to Katra in a chauffeur-driven car, a picturesque town at the base of the Trikuta Mountains and the starting point for the Mata Vaishnodevi pilgrimage. The drive to Katra takes about 2 hours, allowing you to soak in the scenic beauty of the region. Once in Katra, check into your hotel and unwind. Dinner will be served at the hotel, setting a peaceful tone for your stay.

Day 2: Katra – Mata Vaishnodevi Yatra

After an early breakfast at the hotel, begin your ascent to the Holy Shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi. You have the option to undertake this spiritual trek on foot or by pony. Situated at an altitude of 5200ft, the shrine is approximately 14kms from Katra, with the journey on foot taking around 5 to 6 hours, and by pony, about 2 to 3 hours. Along your path, you’ll encounter sacred sites such as Ban Ganga, Charan Paduka, Himkoti, and Ardha Kumari, enriching your pilgrimage. After your visit to the Holy Shrine, return to Katra for rest and reflection.

Day 3: Katra – Jammu City Tour – Departure

Post breakfast and hotel check-out, proceed to Jammu for a city tour, immersing yourself in its rich history and cultural heritage. Visit significant landmarks including the Raghunath Temple, Amar Mahal, Bahu Fort and Garden, and Mubarak Mandi Palace. These attractions offer a glimpse into the region’s past and present, enhancing your travel experience. In the late afternoon, we will ensure your transfer to the Jammu train station/Airport for your journey home.
